AUDIOVISUAL ENGINEERING CO-OP/INTERN

The Audiovisual Engineering Co-Op/Intern participates in design development and execution of sophisticated audio and video systems for corporate, educational and healthcare environments. Projects include boardrooms, auditoriums, conference centers, and beyond.

During the Co-Op/internship period the candidate will work with a broad range of professionals in the Red Thread organization.

• Sales: accompany salespeople to gather project requirements
• Design: work with design engineers to develop system designs and proposals
• Execution: work with project engineers to attend on site coordination meetings, do technical research, create AutoCAD system diagrams and architectural drawings

Required Skills:
Good written and verbal communications skills including technical notes. Experience with Microsoft Office applications, and an interest in audio, video, computers and electronics. AutoCAD experience, and understanding of computer networks is preferred.
