Description

The role of the Microsoft Technology Specialist will be primarily focused on developing our overall growth of the entire Surface Portfolio, specifically Surface Hub. It will be the candidate's responsibility to create programs, spiff incentives, campaigns, training, and account mapping sessions between sales teams. The Microsoft Technology Specialist be working in tandem with Microsoft’s Marketing Team to develop successful Surface customer-facing material and events to drive brand awareness and increase overall sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with your respective Microsoft Teams Rooms Partner Sales Executive to grow business, track pipeline and achieve revenue targets.
  • Build, maintain, manage and mine sales pipeline for all Surface/Hub Device opportunities with the pricing programs available.
  • Increase seller reach and frequency across the broad sales force
  • Promote and educate sales teams on products, services, sales & marketing initiatives
  • Prepare and present hardware/software/services solutions to sales teams
  • Assist sellers with pricing, configurations, availability, lead qualification, and overall management
  • Work with Leadership to generate awareness of campaigns and programs and incentives
  • Analyze report data to work on strategically positioning Teams Rooms/Surface Hub in territories or accounts as necessary to drive more impact
  • Regularly meet with sales teams and sales leadership and develop formal RoB with each office
  • Be the subject matter expert for M365/Teams/MTR/Surface Hub/Surface Devices/Microsoft Teams Room Standard & Premium including: manufacturer portfolio, partner programs (1st party, 3rd party), Microsoft's Teams GTM strategy, Programs and Investments
  • Deliver effective sales & technical workshops, bootcamps, trainings necessary to build the skills and expertise of sellers
  • Participate and/or supports Microsoft market activities, trade shows & events as assigned.
  • Support sellers in delivering sales/technical/demo presentations to customers if required.
  • Accelerate sales capacity and capability with Partner sellers by representing Microsoft Teams Rooms devices, specifically Surface Hub internally, communicates our strategy, sells our vision
  • Continuously develop and expand sales (technical & channel), industry and product knowledge.
  • Deliver deep insights back to the business - understand the collaboration sales and competitive landscape, build insights and lead discussion on challenges and solutions.
  • Develop Teams Rooms Device (Hub) and services-based growth plans that align to partner business objectives and initiatives.
  • Build, maintain and expand high quality relationships with technical and business executives based on joint strategic objectives.
  • Execute joint plans to ensure they meet or exceed planned ROI and develop deep insights on what’s needed to accelerate growth.
  • Build & maintain strong relationships with executive leaders and influencers to drive Teams Devices hardware, software & services growth
  • Establish and maintain a rhythm of the business to regularly review progress against joint priorities and stay up-to-date on Microsoft Teams Rooms (Hub) strategy, priorities
  • Align with OEM channels to develop and execute joint plans to increase sales of Teams rooms devices.
