Description
The Technology Sales Consultant has three core responsibilities:
Job Functions:
- Provide the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Deliver positive financial results including top-line revenue and target margin.
- Manage the sales cycle from inception, to implementation, closed out and service.
Job Functions:
- Identifies, pursues and captures new revenue opportunities.
- Promotes revenue growth and deepens relationships with existing clients.
- Develops new business strategies based on market conditions and emerging trends.
- Initiatives contact with prospective clients and executes consistent follow up.
- Build relationships with influencers, partners, and industry contacts.
- Attend networking, industry, and client events.
- Entertain clients as needed.
- Promote and partner with other Red Thread disciplines to offer integrated solutions.
- Host clients and partners at showrooms and deliver integrated tour experience.
- Prepare quotations and RFP responses.
- Provide proposals consistent with Red Thread requirements for pricing and margin.
- Costing all hardware, software, service, and outside labor items.
- Prepare and capture approval on all change orders.
- Manage a balanced portfolio of hardware, software, and service solutions.
- Provide timely and accurate sales forecast and updates CRM daily.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholder teams to deliver superior project outcomes.
- Confirm client satisfaction at project completion.
- Deliver final documentation and ensure that client is professionally trained.
- Maintain and renew service level agreements for all clients.
- Execute all new client applications and captures customer deposits.
- Follow Red Thread guidelines for order submission and updates.
- Comply with Red Thread’s credit and collections policies and procedures.
- Conduct business under Red Thread’s normal terms and conditions, or partner with Red Thread
- contract team to establish a satisfactory contractual agreement.
- Communicate with clients on any financing, credit, or pricing discrepancies throughout the sales cycle.
- Assist with the collection delinquent funds as needed.
- Perform special projects as assigned.
- Maintain all professional certifications and training required by Red Thread

- Proactively seek out training opportunities and professional development that will increase your value to clients, partners, and coworkers.
- Seek training opportunities for other Red Thread disciplines (furniture, AP, etc.).
