We seek a dedicated, service-oriented professional to join our team as an Audio Visual (AV) Expediter in our Wilmington, MA facility.
 
The AV Expediter is responsible for appropriately stocking and maintaining the Audio Visual Pre-Build & Staging (PBS) area outside the AV Lab and loading dock in the Wilmington warehouse. The Expediter handles the proper flow of equipment, parts and supplies through the PBS area, AV Lab and loading dock and supports the Operations Staff with freight claims, product returns and clarifying discrepancies with AV products.

The primary job functions are as follows:
 
Product Staging

• Submits product pick requests for the AV Lab by cross referencing orders with equipment lists and system flows to determine the correct products required for rack build
• Ensures accurate receipt and delivery of product through the PBS area, AV Lab and loading dock by matching with delivery tickets (DTs)
• Captures and records all serial numbers and MAC addresses
• Provides a copy of all DTs to the AV Project Coordinator and assists with resolving discrepancies
• Packs completed systems from the AV Lab and stores them in the PBS area
• Prepares shipments for remote projects and coordinates freight pickup with warehouse operations
• Moves completed systems to the loading dock when ready for installation
• Meets installers and subcontractors at loading dock when picking up or returning product to ensure the correct items are being handled
• Processes product returns by following established warehouse practices
• Requests RMA’s from vendors
• Disposes of trash returned from job sites
• Conducts daily cycle count of product in PBS area and loading dock to maintain inventory integrity
   
  Parts and Supplies Control
• Maintains AV parts and supplies / miscellaneous material inventory
• Processes material order requests in a timely manner
• Submits purchase orders to vendors to replenish stock
   
  Warehouse Support
• Helps warehouse staff with AV product discrepancies
• Assists with freight claims
• Conducts periodic cycle counts
• Attends annual physical inventory (last Saturday in January)
• Perform deliveries when needed
   
  Skills and Experience:
• A minimum of three years of Audio Visual industry experience
• High school diploma, some College or AV Coursework Completed
• Valid driver’s license

• Basic understanding of Hedberg or experience using other inventory management systems
• Intermediate proficiency with Excel, Word and Outlook
• High comfort level with Audio Visual products and their applications
• Demonstrated ability to operate manual warehouse equipment including pallet jacks and Genie lifts
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lb. objects on a regular basis
• Strong attention to detail with demonstrated accuracy in daily work
• Ability to prioritize and follow a series of instructions
• Motivated to work in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to cross-train in other like areas
• Works well with others and under limited supervision
• Strong verbal and written electronic communication skills
