Definition:
The Marketing Associate will report directly to the VP of Marketing and work closely with the team members to support the overall marketing objectives. As a sales driven organization, marketing’s efforts are a balance between building brand awareness through our digital presence/events and supporting our sales teams in their efforts to win business through client centered deliverables such as presentations and proposals. We are looking for a team player, someone who will work collaboratively with the marketing group, supporting the team on any number of initiatives. A leading candidate would also be a strong independent contributor who is comfortable leading their own projects. Ideally, this role is suited to someone who is highly organized, is adept at multi-tasking and can manage many initiatives simultaneously. The team has many tools, templates and content in place but the expectation is that the candidate takes the initiative to develop a strong knowledge of our industry, our capabilities and brings their own creative ideas to the role.
Job Functions

Marketing Ambassador

Work with the sales teams to communicate and train on how to utilize sales tools and resources available.

Customer Deliverables

Manage, copy write, edit and format marketing communications (ie) RFP proposals, presentations, mockup or move-in booklets and other customer driven projects.

Events
-
Lead in the coordination of events and trade shows, ensuring all associated tasks are completed in a timely fashion, including invitations, catering, collateral materials, registrations and name tags.

Digital Marketing
-
Support website updates with content and graphics.

Support and author blog and social media posts

Customer Stories
- Support the development of project profiles and customer testimonials from photography coordination to researching and writing the project stories that will be used across multiple media platforms

Culture Club (Employee Events Committee)

Participate in all meetings and take a leadership role in planning and executing all employee events.
Qualifications
Skills:
-
Advanced PC Skills: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Graphic design experience or visual acumen preferred

Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop) is a plus

Knowledge of WordPress is great, but we can teach you.

BS/BA degree

1 - 4 years of related marketing and/or design experience

Experience in the commercial furniture, A&D or real estate industry is a plus
